7 - 8 July 2004, Kongresszentrum Heidelberg
Over 200 years ago, Romanesque poets and painters were enchanted by the harmony of the city, the castle, the Neckar River, and the magnificent surroundings.
Today, the charm of Old Heidelberg harmonizes with state-of-the-art scientific research. Heidelberg has become a center for biotechnological research and a leader in information technology and environmental strategies, and it is considered to be one of the best locations for businesses in Germany.
Heidelberg offers something for every visitor: the charming old section of the town, the historical castle, the lively cultural scene, and the numerous sports and leisure activities available. There are also many sites of interest close by.

Heidelberg has much to offer for those who are interested in culture. We especially would like to recommend the exhibition “Irre ist weiblich” (“Insanity is female”) from the Prinzhorn Collection in the Psychiatric University Clinic, Heidelberg. The exhibition features drawings by patients in the sanatorium circa 1900, and it poses the question: Why were most of the drawings done by men, when most of the patients were women?
